Paper cut Winter Scene
I am just loving these paper cut landscapes. I think this woodland winter scene featuring trees, deer, fox and a rabbit is just lovely for the holidays and beyond. I found the 4.5 inch wide by 8 inches tall glass and wood dome right here on Amazon.
The inside sheet of paper was cut from a frosted vellum at 7.5 inches tall. The other parts of the scene are cut from simple white paper. Once assembles and arranged, I placed 4 battery operated tea lights stacked inside the inner circle.
After you have your scene lit, place the dome over your paper cut artwork and you have a beautiful lit winter landscape in your own living room. I will keep mine lit through the dark winter months at least until spring is here,
We did cut this paper scene with the Cricut Explore so for a minimal membership fee you can download the SVG file for this winter decoration. For those of you who do not have a personal cutting machine, there is also a PDF template that you can download here.
